Donations


Funds acquired through Ways and Means help cover the promotion, production, and awards for exhibitions. Any excess will be directed to general funds.
MSW is dedicated to the highest aesthetic standards and furthers the interest of painters in watercolor through encouraging its study with programs, and competitive exhibits. All donations may be used at MSW's discretion.
Support previously defined educational efforts.
The President's Award is a collective award given at the Annual Juried Exhibition supported by current and past presidents of MSW.
The Bonnie Moody Memorial Award is given during the Annual Juried Exhibition. All donations will go to this award. Bonnie was a beloved member of Mid-Southern Watercolorists where her humor, bright personality and creative spirit endeared her to many dear friends. Bonnie dedicated much of her life to teaching and inspiring generations of students with her passion for learning. Those who knew Bonnie will remember her kind heard and the way she made people feel valued.
The Reita Walker Miller Memorial Award is given during the Annual Juried Exhibition. All donations will go to this award. Reita became a Diamond Signature member in the 80s. She exhibited in the Annual Juried Exhibition twelve times garnering eleven awards. Reita was integral to the stewardship of MSW. She was a champion and inspiration to many many members.
The Annette Garner Memorial Award is given during the Annual Juried Exhibition. All donations will go to this award. Annette Garner became a Diamond Signature member when she was accepted into the 53rd Annual Juried Exhibition in 2023. She was an MSW member for fifteen years and served Mid-Southern Watercolorists in many capacities. Not only did she serve as the president but she was the vice president and co-chaired the Member Open Exhibition for several years
Marsha joined Mid-Southern Watercolorists about five to six years ago. Marsha enjoyed traveling and being a part of the Six Bridges Gallery Art Group, which consists of quite a few MSW members. She enjoyed painting and attending art shows. Her friends and peers found her to be delightful, humorous, and fun. Suzzette Patterson said she should win Miss Congeniality of the group because she always had positive things to say about everyone's work. Marsha had a big heart was very encouraging and her absence will be felt by the Six Bridges and MSW communities.
The Suzann Waggoner Memorial Award is given during the Annual Juried Exhibition. All donations will go to this award. Suzann was a longstanding Diamond Signature member. She exhibited in the Annual Juried Exhibition seven times garnering four awards.
